Ongun Aydın, upon completing Ankara Bahçelievler Pilot High School, has studied ‘HND Computer in Data Processing’ at Scotland Dundee College of Commerce and graduated as ‘Systems Analyst’. She has completed Anadolu Open University BA in Management Program;she is currently attending BA Program in Philosophy of the same Faculty. She has as well obtained Transactional Analysis (TA) Certificate. She is certified in Agile SAP Project Delivery (OpenSAP).

Ongun Aydın started her business life in 1983 as Programmer at İş Bank Headquarter in Ankara. The following year she joined İzmit BİMSA core team and worked as Programmer, System Analyst, Consultant and Project Manager in the development of Information Systems of Group Companies of Sabancı Holding (eg. KORDSA, BRISA, YÜNSA, AKÇİMENTO, BOSSA, TOYOTASA, OLMUKSA). By 1994, she joined Software AG as ‘Professional Services Department Head’, where she managed the team responsible from customization, sales, deployment and support services of Insurance and ERP solutions. She performed the roles of Training Coordination and Trainer at SAP Bilgi in 1999. She delivered trainings on SAP modules, as well as Project Management trainings.

Pursuing her Career as ‘Business Solutions Director’ at Siemens Business Services (SBS) in 2001, Ongun was responsible from development of business solutions portfolio, as well as sales and project implementations of them. She has, together with the Management Consulting Team, provided services such as development of IT strategies and business solutions roadmap, definition of CRM strategies, prioritization of business requirements of companies; and performing process analyses prior to SAP project implementations. With the Solutions Consultancy Team, she has realized ERP, CRM, BI (Business Intelligence), Supply Chain Management (SCM-SAP, Oracle) and ITIL Services Management projects. She assumed effective role in major large-scale public industry projects of Turkey, including ones in energy industry.

Between years 2006 and 2008, she took over the CIO role of Groupama Insurance companies. She carried over the responsibility of transforming the public organization into a private company and developed IT StrategicPlan for both companies in line  with the Business Strategy Plan. She established IT Budget, Governance and Performance Management Systems. She evaluated and selected solutions and vendors of Core Insurance Systems, Human Resources Systems, Business Intelligence system, and  IT Outsourcing. She led implementation projects.

As of July 2008, she joined the Microsoft Turkey team as ‘Microsoft Dynamics Business Solutions Sales Director’ and resumed the roles of products strategy development, sales, marketing and business development for ERP (AXAPTA, NAVISION) and CRM business solutions. She became Microsoft Partner Sales Director by March 2010, where she was responsible from development of Partner Operational Model and all aspects of recruitment, capacity planning, strategizing, planning, development of competencies, coaching/mentoring, reviewing and rewarding Top Microsoft Partners, namely Large Account Resellers (LAR), Value Added Resellers (VAR) and Independent Software Vendors (ISV).

Aydın, whose consultancy career spans three decades at top-level international management, leads Novida’s efforts in Business and Digital Transformation, Operational Excellence, Business Solutions (eg. ERP, CRM, SCM, BI), Institutionalization, Branding, Design Thinking and Innovation, and Leadership. She is specifically passionate about Capacity Building and Transformation of Family Businesses, Women-Owned Businesses, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO).

Ongun Aydın, as Senior Consultant of Novida, has effectively realized transformation projects in a multitude of industries, like telecommunication, energy, automotive, IT,security technologies, credit cards, e-learning, food retailing,  insurance, tourism,printing, textile, chemicals, duty free and marine industries.

Ongun Aydın has advanced command of English. She has two sons.
