Arzu İlhan Babaoğlu is a Member of Advisory Board for Novida Global Turkey and Montenegro, which got by upon the mission of becoming trusted and effective Solution Provider for businesses to realize their dreams and goals such as Business Development, Transformation, Integration and/or Growth.
Graduating from Electronics and Computer Programming Departments of Bosphorus University in 1987, Arzu İlhan-Babaoğlu has worked as Systems Analyst at Turkish Economy Bank (TEB) Information Technologies Department, followed by Product, Sales and Dealer Channel Management at NCR Turkey.
Joining Hewlett-Packard (HP) Turkey as Product Manager by 1994, İlhan-Babaoğlu initiated the efforts of the company in Retail market and substantially contributed in moving HP Turkey into leading positions among EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa) countries in inkjet printing sales.
Arzu İlhan-Babaoğlu, has been transferred to HP’s European Marketing Center located in Germany in 1997 and assumed roles in sales and marketing in variety of product groups in EMEA Region. Babaoğlu, during this timeframe, predominantly worked for Developing Markets and Northern European countries. Returning to Turkey in 2003 again, Arzu İlhan-Babaoğlu, has been appointed as Multi-Functional Products Market Development Manager responsible from HP Middle-East, Africa and Eastern Europe Regions. Between 2007 and 2008, Babaoğlu has carried over the Large Format Printing Sales and Marketing Management role again in the same Region. During this role, she has enabled the integration of companies acquired by HP and contributed in the establishment and expansion of sales and distribution channels in large format printing space in Africa and Middle-East markets.
Arzu carried the role of HP Turkey Printing and Imaging Group Country Directorate between 2008 and 2011. Being responsible from the execution of sales, marketing and services of the Group across Turkey; Arzu İlhan-Babaoğlu has as well served as the Member of Board for American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Turkey.
Being promoted into the role of General Management for EMEA Large Format Printing Systems in 2012, İlhan-Babaoğlu moved to Barcelona with her family and continued her career until July 2017 there. Within the context of her latest role as General Manager for EMEA Supplies Business in Spain, Arzu İlhan-Babaoğlu, with her broad responsibility and span of management of 4 billion dollars revenue per year, has become the first Turkish Manager at such executibe level at HP International Organization.
Since August 2017, Arzu carries over the HP Global Strategy and Planning role at HP’s Headquarter in Silicon Valley in USA. Being involved in the Management Team defining and deciding long-term sales, marketing (GTM) and digital transformation strategies of the Company; İlhan-Babaoğlu has actually been working at ICT (Information & Communication Technologies) Industry more than 30 years. She is married and has one daughter.
